Supported Designers

Designers whose patterns we have opened in WipCount and checked square by square. Buy the pattern from them as you always have, open the PDF in the app, and the grid, the symbols, the colour key and the backstitch all come across.

The list

We are writing to designers now and will add each one here as they come on board. Check back soon.

What "supported" means

We bought or were given one of the designer's patterns, opened it in WipCount, and checked that it came out right: the whole grid, every symbol matched to the right thread, the colour key, and the backstitch lines. Designers tend to lay out all their charts the same way, so when one pattern opens cleanly the rest usually do too.

WipCount does not sell or include patterns. You buy the pattern from the designer, exactly as before, and open the PDF they send you. Being on this list is not an endorsement of WipCount by the designer, and it does not change their copyright in any way.

Not on the list? Most PDF charts open fine anyway. If one of yours does not, tell us which designer it is from and we will look at it.

Are you a designer?

We would love to list you. Send us the name of one of your patterns, or a copy of it, and we will open it in WipCount and check it through. If it comes across cleanly we will add you here with your logo and a link to your shop, and send you the "WipCount Compatible" badge below for your pattern pages, website or socials if you would like it.

Nothing is asked of you in return, and your pattern is used only for the check. It is never shared, and it is never included with the app.

The badge

For designers on the list. Put it on a pattern page, your website or your socials so your stitchers know the pattern opens in WipCount. Two versions, one for light backgrounds and one for dark. Right-click a badge and choose "Save image as", or use the links underneath.

On a website

If you can paste HTML, this shows the badge and links it back here, so a stitcher who taps it can find out what WipCount is:

<a href="https://wipcount.com/designers"><img src="https://wipcount.com/assets/badge/wipcount-compatible-light-600.png" alt="WipCount Compatible" width="300"></a>

Please use the badge as it is, without changing the colours or the words, and only for patterns we have checked. Thank you.
